Tautou, not Marceau, slated for 'The Da Vinci Code'

Last week, we reported that Sophie Marceau had landed the highly sought role of Sophie Neveu in the upcoming adaptation of The Da Vinci Code. This week, it turns out that we were a bit premature with the news as actress Audrey Tautou is announced in the role.

Tautou, 12 years Marceau's junior, is probably more age appropriate for the role as written in the book, but it might make the budding romance between the 26-year-old Tautou and the 48-year-old Tom Hanks a little suspect. Of course, this is Hollywood and age is never really a factor.
