Tex Ritter bails out the Shooting Kid, a traveling troublemaker. Ignoring Tex's advice to live on the right side of the law, The Kid is hired by the nefarious Jeff Hall to shoot local cattle herder Speed Dennison, whom he quickly puts in the crosshairs. Tex rushes in before the job is finished, and Speed offers Tex employment in exchange for saving his life. Now on opposite sides, Tex must convince The Kid to give up his outlaw ways before all hell breaks loose!
The quintessential singing-cowboy star of the 30s, 40s and 50s, Tex Ritter strummed his guitar through countless westerns before hitting it big as a country music legend. The action-packed gunplay and convincing cattle-rustling scenes in The Man From Texas add scope and dimension to this Poverty Row cowboy classic.
