Answer to Trivia

The Batwoman series was a bold new take on the superhero genre for the CW and the Berlanti Arrowverse of TV shows. It not only featured the first LGBTQ lead hero, but it also featured many strong female characters.

The strong female under the mask and cape is none other than Ruby Rose from Orange is the New Black fame. She brought a fierce spirit to the role, but a combination of factors led to her decision not to return for Season Two in 2021.

If you'd like to see more of Ruby Rose, she stars in the fabulous The Doorman this week with Jean Reno. The Doorman is now available on Blu-ray and DVD.
