Directors Circle To Feed On 'Geisha'

If you can't ride Steven Spielberg's coat tails to success, you might as well pick up his scraps. That's exactly what Hollywood directors are doing since it was announced earlier this week that Spielberg has officially dropped Memoirs Of A Geisha from his plate.

The veritable feeding frenzy is likely to be quick and deadly after being stalled in Spielberg's stable for four years. The studio hopes to start shooting this Summer with a release targeted for next year.
