Hollywood bachelor George Clooney won the bet waged against him by good friends Nicole Kidman and Michelle Pfeiffer as he turned 40 and still wasn't wearing a gold band on his left hand.

So, a woman of her word, Nicole sent a $10,000 check to her favorite ER doctor but the prankster in him had to send it back with a note attached. "How about double or nothing? Check with me when I'm 50."
