Kate Winslet's New Man...Already

Just barely a month ago did British actress Kate Winslet and director Jim Threapleton announced they were separating after three years of marriage. In September, they were separating due to Kate's devotion to her work but six weeks later she's "finding comfort" in the arms of director Sam Mendes.

A good friend says, "They have a lot in common and he has huge regards for her professionally." Sam directed the Oscar-winning movie American Beauty. Kate and Sam met after a business meeting, which might put the actress in one of his movies.

Sam and his ex-girlfriend Rachel Weisz broke up in March but rumors have hooked him up with Calista Flockhart and Jane Horrocks.
