'Angry Birds' trailer delivers plenty of potty humor

To be completely honest, I wasn't really sure what sort of tone The Angry Birds Movie would have. Sure, it is a popular app/game with both adults and kids alike, but with the animated feel and the popularity of family-friendly fare, I was expecting something a bit on safe, conservative side of things.

The first official trailer was anything but safe or conservative.

It's not quite as divisive as the puerile humor of Kevin Smith, but the biggest gag in the trailer is an extended pee joke. That's not to say that bathroom humor is taboo in family films. Quite the contrary, one of the best jokes in Home involves a urinal cake, but it's definitely a bit of a risk to stick it right there on Main Street in its first trailer.

Thankfully, for The Angry Birds Movie, the gamble pays off and for the first time, I'm genuinely interested in this film. What do you think?
