'Scary Movie 3' Coming Next Summer

How does that saying go again? Something about going to the well too many times? Oh well, don't tell Dimension about beating a dead horse. Apparently, they beat it and then they poke fun at beating it in their movies.

Sources indicate that the moderate success of Scary Movie 2 ($30 million since its release on July 4), is more than enough for the Disney owned studio to take another chance on the family Wayans. The $45 million budgeted movie should turn a nice profit, but nothing compared to the $150 million take of the original Scary Movie. Scary Movie 3 is rumored for a theatrical release next summer.

All in all, it just means more work for the Wayans family (Keenan Ivory directs while brothers Shawn and Marlon write and star) and Anna Faris, who is slowly making a living doing Scary Movie films.
