The games begin in new 'Catching Fire' trailer

Earlier this year, we shared the teaser trailer for Catching Fire and at the time we were quite impressed at how much it resembled a full trailer. Well, today we've got our first look at the full trailer for The Hunger Games and we have to admit that we are impressed.

As much as the teaser showed us glimpses of the turmoil simmering in all Panem following the conclusion of the 74th Hunger Games, this trailer starts out with hope. Of course, it doesn't take long for things to spiral down the path leading to violence, but hey what else would you expect from a young adult series that promotes pedicide?

This trailer also gives us first looks at some of our favorite past victors in action including Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair, Jena Malone as Johanna Mason and Jeffrey Wright (very briefly) as Volts. All in all, the trailer does exactly what it should do, it gets us all excited and desperately waiting for November 22.

In my opinion, this should be the last trailer, but I know that they'll want to release at least one or two more before it's released. It's sad, because as it stands, these two trailers are perfect. I'm afraid that any other trailers will simply give away too much to those who haven't read the books.
