Bobcat tackles Bigfoot in 'Willow Creek' trailer

Bobcat Goldthwait is what you might call an odd character. He's known for playing bizarre characters in film, so I suppose it only makes sense that he'd direct bizarre films.

I enjoyed his latest film God Bless America quite a bit and I have to say that I have a fond spot in my heart for his next project Willow Creek. I don't know if Bigfoot exists or not, but it's certainly intriguing to me.

I guess it harkens back to my enjoyment of mysteries. The Loch Ness Monster. Aliens. Bigfoot.

So, when I learned that Bobcat's film was basically The Blair Witch Project with Bigfoot, I was hooked. The trailer below shows that there is something more going on in the film. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I bet that deep in the forest it's more important that we find ourselves instead of a mythical beast.

Willow Creek is currently playing the festival circuit and should be available later this year.
