The 'Wild Bunch' Rides Again

Over 30 years after the original Wild Bunch rode into theaters across the country, a new Bunch might be hot on their heels. Director Brian Helgeland is working on a remake of the 1969 western, in which the last violent gang of the Wild West decide to invade Mexico to pull off one last robbery.

Helgeland plans to modernize The Wild Bunch setting it in present day L.A. around a group of suspended cops who decide to rob a bank in Mexico. As long as there isn't any giant, mechanical spiders, I'm game...
