Full-length 'Prometheus' trailer oozes with awesomeness

I know that we've been quiet around here as of late and I apologize for that, but I plan to make up for it in the next couple of days. First up, is a trailer from Prometheus that debuted over the weekend.

It's the first full-length trailer from the upcoming Summer blockbuster from Sci Fi legend Ridley Scott and the more we see of this movie, the more convinced we become that this movie will be part of Scott's Alien mythology. Of course, that's really not all too important.

What is important is what we can see from this trailer. Not only are we introduced to the crew that will travel across the universe to search out the origins of the human race, but we get brief glimpses of the "alien creatures" that will do battle with them.

Naturally, there isn't anything quite as definite as an actual Alien from the first set of movies, those pods in the trailer below do look an awfully lot like the eggs from the original movies.

I don't know about you, but June 8 can't get here soon enough. Check out the new trailer below and let us know what you think.
