First look at Leonardo DiCaprio in 'J. Edgar'

When we posted the slate of images from Warner Bros. last week, I was surprised that there wasn't a single shot from J. Edgar. As one of their biggest films due out this Winter, it was a bit curious that they didn't choose to promote it with at least a single shot.

Well, today Warner Bros. rectified the shortcoming with two shots of Leonardo DiCaprio in character as J. Edgar Hoover in the Clint Eastwood directed movie about the first director of the FBI. Sadly, these shots don't provide much insight into the highly anticipated film, especially whether the story will dip into the alleged sordid personal life of J. Edgar.

Now, a first look of Leonardo DiCaprio in drag would have certainly set the Internets aflame with speculation and wonder. Instead, we are left to wonder until November 9 as to what part, if any, Hoover's personal life will play into the movie.

Warner Bros. also released new images from Happy Feet Two and New Year's Eve today.
