No Jail For Doherty And No Charmed Role Either

Shannen Doherty may not be television 'charmed' anymore but she was court 'charmed' this week.

Known for her temper and bad attitude, the actress was arrested for drunk driving in December in California with a blood alcohol content of .13% (legal limit is .08%). She dodged jail time but under court order, Shannen must speak to Mothers Against Drunk Driving and also at the Thousand Oaks Teen Center.

MADD and troubled-teens will be her only audience for awhile too, as she was dropped from her WB series "Charmed" when she showed her attitude. Maybe Ms. Doherty thought Aaron Spelling would beg her to come back but the studio already has her replacement lined up.

Jawbreaker star Rose McGowan is negotiating the role and would be a perfect replacement. Not only do the tow resemble one another, but Rose possesses quite the spunky attitude too.
