Thanks to her portrayal of Kitty Pride in X-Men: The Last Stand, there's a pretty good bet that you won't see Ellen Page in a Batman movie anytime soon. But that didn't stop Christopher Nolan from signing the Juno star for his next flick Inception.

Variety is reporting that Nolan and Warner Bros. are in negotiations to land Page, Marion Cotillard and Cillian Murphy in the cast. They would join Leonardo DiCaprio who has already been cast as the star.

Anyone who has been around this site for a bit will tell you that I'm as big of a Nolan fan that you will find. I think that The Prestige is one of the best movies in the last decade. So, you must temper my remarks some, but I think this cast and project is shaping up to be another classic opus from the young director.

Not much is really known about the project other than it's a modern sci-fi flick set in the architecture of the human mind. The story sounds intriguing, but risky. But, with Nolan at the wheel, I'm confident that he'll have another surefire hit on his hands.

Inception is set for a July 16, 2010 release. What do you think of these casting rumors?
