Anne Hathaway to 'Get Smart'

Anne Hathaway is set to join Steve Carell in a big screen adaptation of the TV series Get Smart. The story revolves around Maxwell Smart, Agent 86 of CONTROL who, along with his partner Agent 99 fight against the crime syndicate known as KAOS.

The thing is that Smart is a bit of a bumbler and more often than not needs to rely on his partner to catch the bad guys. Peter Segal is directing and filming is set to begin in March for an early 2008 release.
