Movie version of '24' coming

According to series producer/director Jon Cassar, TV series 24 is planning a jump to the big screen. "The last I heard, the first hour will not be in real-time, but then something big will happen and real time will kick in."

Cassar added in the interview for the Calgary Sun that 24: The Movie would probably follow the storyline of the TV seasons directly before and after it. 24 follows the exploits of Counter Terrorism agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) in real time over 24 hours.

The film is still two years away in the least.
