Wolfgang Petersen To Hit Seas Again

Fresh off the success of last year's The Perfect Storm, director Wolfgang Petersen can't wait to get back filming on the water. Well, make that frozen water.

Rumors are circulating that Petersen is looking at a script that chronicles the Antarctic expedition of Sir Ernest Shackleton. According to the story, Shackleton's ship became lodged in the ice for 10 months and Shackleton had to lead precarious journey across the Antarctic ice fields in order to survive.

This time, unlike with The Perfect Storm, everyone lives. Kind of hard to produce killer waves of ice, isn't it?
