Julia Roberts gives birth to twins

Superstar actress Julia Roberts gave birth to twins -- a boy and a girl -- on Sunday morning. The births were a month premature but "mother and babies are doing great," said Roberts' publicist to the Associated Press.

Roberts and husband, cinematographer Danny Moder, welcomed Hazel Patricia Moder and Phinnaeus Walter Moder to the world. Roberts gave birth at a southern California hospital. Roberts had been ordered to bed rest after having early contractions a month earlier.

Perhaps Julia and babies can now make it to the premieres of her two holiday movies -- Closer and Ocean's Twelve.
