Cruise blazes new 'War' path

Paramount Pictures has officially delayed Mission: Impossible 3, in favor of another Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg collaboration. Mission: Impossible 3 orginally scheduled to begin production next month has been delayed for a year, while War of the Worlds has been accelerated.

Directed by Spielberg and starring Cruise, War of the Worlds is a remake of the original radio program by H.G. Wells that was made into a feature-length movie in 1953.
