'Sex' spins off to big screen

For fans of HBO's hit series Sex And The City, it looks like their love affair will continue. According to various reports, HBO is busy prepping a big screen adaptation of the Golden Globe winning romantic comedy.

Series executive producer Michael Patrick King is already working on a script and is keen to direct. The leading ladies have yet to sign off on the new project but as lead lady Sarah Jessica Parker hinted recently this might be more realistic than an overzealous fan's dream come true. "It is the last season - but doesn't mean it's the last you'll see of us."

The final episode of Sex And The City debuts on HBO this Sunday at 9:00 pm.
