Ben Affleck wanted for arrest in North Carolina

The media is watching Ben Affleck's every move. That's got to be a big hassle for the Oscar-winning actor and his girlfriend(?) Jennifer Lopez. But this one time, it may have worked in his favor.

An arrest warrant was issued on Saturday when a woman accused Affleck of threatening her on Sept. 25 in North Carolina. The trouble is there are "at least 50 paparazzi and others", says Ben's publicist, who can testify that Ben was at his Savannah, Georgia estate on that day. The alibi is far from airtight but there's surely countless photos of him at different times on that day.

Accuser Tara Ray of Kure Beach, North Carolina also told the Associated Press that she has had a romantic relationship with Affleck since February 2002. (Yeah, right. And J.Lo and I have gone out a few times too.)

Kure Beach police are reportedly investigating the claim and looking for someone to serve the warrant to Affleck.
