'24' Jumping to the Big Screen?

As Agent Jack Bauer's second big day/season comes to an end on the hit TV show 24, it's only natural to think about the big screen possibilities of this action packed series. In fact, the series' star/producer Kiefer Sutherland says that the idea is out there.

"I know everyone is looking forward to that happening. We've got a big Die Hard-style spectacle planned in the back of our minds. The show is big enough in itself but the movie is sure to bring it on."

Many TV shows have tried to make the leap to big screen with mixed results. The X Files found the move profitable, while the big screen treatment wasn't so kind to The Mod Squad.
