Hawaiian style wedding this weekend?

In today's information age, it's nearly impossible for two mega celebrities to sneak off and have a quiet wedding - or is it? Apparently, that notion will be put to the test this weekend as word comes out of Kauai, one of the smaller Hawaiian islands, that Hollywood is invading their little tropical paradise big time.

If you're a betting man or woman, the smart money is on Friends hunk Matt LeBlanc and his fiancee, model Melissa McKnight or Gwyneth Paltrow and her fiance, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Both potential weddings have strong evidence for and against their fruition this weekend.

Rumors indicate that McKnight recently signed a pre-nuptial agreement meaning that wedding bells are imminent. The island's luxurious Princeville resort has confirmed that several top Friends producers and writers have recently checked in. Even Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston pulled out of promotional obligations this weekend for her new movie Bruce Almighty at the last minute. On the flip side, another Friends co-star, David Schwimmer has reportedly left the island. Perhaps he was upset when he learned that Ross wasn't the one getting hitched this time...

As for Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, her publicist has confirmed that Gwynnie is "vacationing" on Kauai this weekend. She also pulled out of Happy Endings this week, which give her and Chris plenty of time for a honeymoon. Although, she told producers that she had to pull out in order to give her time to grieve the passing of her father Bruce, who died in October. So, if she's grieving, it's doubtful that there will be a wedding for them this weekend.

According to locals, there are so many celebrities on the tiny island something is definitely going. Local Dennis Long commented, "I've never seen so many celebrities here at one time and there's definitely a big wedding taking place. There are lots of rumors but vendors are being asked to sign a confidentiality agreement, so no one is really talking." And, even though we reported yesterday that Ben and Jen are waiting at least a year to tie the knot, Dennis isn't convinced, "Some people think Ben and Jen are the couple who'll be walking up the aisle."
