Peace Sign Digitally Removed From Movie Ad

Citing concerns from the ongoing war in Iraq, Warner Bros. announced today that they have digitally altered movie ads for their upcoming film What A Girl Wants. The controversial ad featured young star Amanda Bynes displaying the familiar V-shaped peace sign. Warner Bros. said that they didn't want the light-hearted movie to be mixed up with a serious movie trying to make a political statement.

The comedy, aimed at teenage girls, opens in theaters this Friday and follows a young girl who travels to London to track down here long lost father.
