In a story that would even make Mulder stop and scratch his head, it was reported today that his X-Files sidekick Gillian Anderson has gottten engaged after a quick courtship. British documentary filmmaker Julian Ozanne asked for Anderson's hand in marriage after dating for only five short weeks.

It's a sad day for sci-fi nerds everywhere, but not all is lost. Conspiracy junkies are sure the 'truth is out there'...
