Indy Whipping Star Wars?

In an interesting move, even by George Lucas' standards, Paramount has slipped that it has signed the long-rumored Frank Darabont to write Indiana Jones 4 and hopes to release it on July 4, 2005. Lucas' last installment of the Star Wars franchise Episode III is set for a May 25, 2005 release.

Darabont, as you may remember wrote and directed such amazing films as The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. This won't be Darabont's first foray into Indiana Jones' world, he wrote numerous episodes for the TV series, "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles."

Come 2005, it's Lucas versus Lucas. It's Harrison Ford versus the space odyssey he started almost 30 years ago.
