Spike Jonze Gets His Own 'Geisha'

When we reported that Steven Spielberg had decided to finally let go of Memoirs Of A Geisha after four years, the biggest names in Hollywood were drooling to get a piece of the action. Now, it appears that a relative newcomer has won the big prize.

Spike Jonze, the music video director turned actor/director, is in serious negotiations to take over the helm on Geisha. Jonze is best known for bringing the quirky Being John Malkovich to the big screen.
