Ridley Scott Hits The Shores Of 'Tripoli'

Director Ridley Scott has a thing for historical war movies. And he's pretty good at it. After back to back Best Director Academy Award Nominations for Gladiator and Black Hawk Down, he's on a roll.

His next project should continue his spell of good luck. He's been tapped to direct Tripoli, an epic picture based on the true story of American William Eaton and his role in overthrowing the oppressive regime that occupied Tripoli during the early 1800s.
