David Carradine (Kill Bill, Bound for Glory), Michael Maloney and Mariel Hemingway (Manhattan, Deconstructing Harry) come together in this satirical buddy drama set in the dizzying whirl of fame at the heights of the music business. Ladies and gentlemen, meet James Lee Springer (Carradine), whose uncompromising style has held him back for the past 20 years. He's now getting his shot thanks to the efforts of his best friend/manager (Maloney). While Springer would prefer to let his musical vision and talents lead the way now that he's made it to the top, his manager has a whole other idea of what it takes to stay there.
