Gordon Childs (Craig Sheffer) is a sadistic, seductive former sports doctor who dropped out of the business soon after a few of his star-athlete patients suddenly expired of "unknown causes". One of the dearly departed was the brother of a cop (Dylan Walsh) obsessed with finding the deranged Doc and bringing him to justice. After getting kicked off the force, he pursues an ultra-sexy former patient (Dina Meyer) and her kid sister (Michele Hicks) who are both protecting secrets - and possibly Dr. Childs as well.
