Country music legend Dolly Parton lends her sunny charm as Ruby Diamond, a brassy lounge singer who tries to enter heaven after a sudden, fatal accident. Unfortunately, Ruby lacks enough good deeds to enter those Pearly Gates. Given a second chance and a strict time limit, Ruby returns to Earth to polish her image and learns that by helping others she is helping herself. Roddy McDowall co-stars as St. Peter. Includes two original Dolly Parton songs: "Unlikely Angel" and "Whatcha Tryin' To Do To Me?"
