Prince Fenge (Gabriel Byrne) murders his brother, the king, and one of his sons, claiming the throne and Queen Geruth (Helen Mirren) to himself. Upon discovering his father has been murdered, Prince Amled (Christian Bale) vows to avenge the death and regain the crown.
