Comic book artist Bill Harrison (Allyn Joslyn, The Great McGinty, My Sister Eileen) has a beautiful and very understanding wife (Evelyn Keyes, The Prowler, The Killer that Stalked New York). But the police department, especially Lieutenant Washburn (Edgar Buchanan) and Sergeant Erwin (Frank Jenks), don't understand why he's always poking his nose into trouble. When a man he was supposed to have picked up at the train station ends up dead, Harrison becomes suspicious and begins to investigate the dead man's beautiful widow (Marguerite Chapman, The Black Book), and the other strange characters who were at hand, making the investigation more complicated than the plot of this convoluted -- but charming -- comedy suspense. The incredible cast also includes Nina Foch, Hugo Haas, John Wengraf, and the amazing Shemp Howard in a small comic bit that is characteristic of this zany picture. Newly remastered.
