Based on the hit stage play written and produced by Paul D. Hannah and featuring an all-star cast including Jazsmin Lewis (Barbershop, Barbershop 2, Deliver Us From Eva), Elise Neal (Hustle and Flow, Scream 2, Love Ranch) and Christian Keyes (Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Perfect Combination), THE PERFECT MAN follows a group of close-knit girlfriends who stumble upon a book that each believes will help her to recreate her boyfriend into the "perfect man." Meanwhile, the film also follows the parallel story of Russell and Bailey Thomas (Christian Keyes & Jazsmin Lewis) who have been co-parenting their son, Justin, for 12 years after their marriage falls apart. For Justin's sake, they agreed to stay together until he left home for college. When Justin leaves, so does Russell ... but he soon regrets it. Now, he must win back his wife from her new man who is not as perfect as he seems. Be careful for what you ask for in this urban drama captured as a live stage performance.
