Fatal Frame (PS2)

The story, the puzzles, and the action make this one of the must have games of the year. Exciting, horrifying, and amazing details such as seeing reflections in mirrors make this a special and intricate game. Fatal Frame has all the basic controls, but a very special feature of a camera button that allows you to flash demons into oblivion. There is no shooting, stabbing, or beating your foes to death...just click and you can do major damage. The fear factor of the title can be compared to Resident Evil, Silent Hill 2 or Parasite Eve 2. Another key feature is the regenerative ability of the set. The more information you find the more the set seems to "fix" itself allowing you to progress in the game...bridges are fixed, staircases are fixed...etc. With spirits moaning for help, people getting murdered right in front of you and people crying out, the scare factor is a definite 10!
