Golden Globe winners announced at press conference-like setting

The glitz and the glamour that is the Golden Globes were held last night. My eyes are still strained from the sight of all the celebrities on the red carpet in their elegant designer gowns and...

No, wait. None of that happened. This year's Golden Globes were reduced to a sleep-inducing press conference-like announcement of the winners. Truth is, I didn't even watch that.

The ceremony was the latest casualty in the ongoing Writers Strike. (If the big studios don't get their collective butts in gear, we'll get the same thing at this year's Academy Awards.)

We do feel compelled to report the winners. So here is the list. You would've gotten a similar experience had you watched the show yourself -- I assume you saved yourself from that.
