Joe Hunt (Ansel Elgort) and tennis pro Dean Karny (Taron Egerton) lead a group of their wealthy friends into a dangerous game of high-risk investing in 1980s Los Angeles. However, when their ‘get-rich-quick' scheme quickly snowballs out of control, pure-hearted ambition turns into crime-riddled greed as the boys find themselves on the line between harmless white lies and pure evil.
